My 29th Birthday and 8th Anniversary with Brett : 2012

Happy Birthday to me!  Started off my birthday by giving my two little beauties some new boots. :)
Later we had some cake to celebrate my last year in my twenties!!!
The girls didn't have school on Monday, the 5th (which is Brett and my anniversary) so we decided to go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago to REALLY celebrate my birthday!
Both sets of Grandparents were able to join us!  It was wonderful.
Take a look at the picture above the fish and notice the man on the far left (my Dad). His name is Gary and he's bald.  Thus, the Gari-baldi fish.  Hahahaha!
 Two peas in a pod.
Little known fact about me, I LOVE seahorses.
 Boats to row.
 Breakfast to cook.
 Time to rest.
They had a lot of fun things for the kids to play with.
I refrained from posting all the pictures I took of the architecture of this building. You're welcome.
 Octopus Lights!!!
 We love Chicago!
 The whole crew.
I forgot to mention that it was free Illinois residents day and since Grandma and Grandpa Marshall are residents, the whole group got in free! It was pretty awesome.
Racing to the hot dog vendor.

How can you not be in love with this city?!
First time eating a REAL Chicago style hot dog, for all the Marshall's (excluding myself).
Look closely at this one.  The birds kept taking the chips right out of Saela's hand!
 Field Museum
 Mama M.

 Grandma and her girls.
 Mama F.
Yep, the police ride horses in Chicago. Best Day Ever!
We headed over to the Lincoln Park Zoo (it's free).

There is a real popcorn maker in there.  He really wanted some.

Before dinner we stopped at a mall and the kids rode on a double decker carousel! I may have been more excited about that than they were.
Dinner with my loved ones.  We were able to meet up with my Uncle Dave (my Dad's older brother) and his wife, my Aunt Claribel and their son, my cousin Davi.  Being with my family was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday and my anniversary.  I am so blessed.
